On these pages you will find the generic descriptions for all the subjects offered by the Literature Faculty. These descriptions correspond to those in the MIT Bulletin for the current academic year.

Please note that not all of these subjects are offered in any given year – if a subject is offered, the descriptions below indicate the semester in which it is being offered. For more detailed accounts of the actual subjects being offered this year, please consult the supplementary descriptions. These may be reached either through the Current Semester link at the left or by clicking on the title of an individual subject.
