Prof. Stephanie Frampton awarded Rome Prize

MIT Literature is pleased to announce that Stephanie Ann Frampton, Assistant Professor of Classical Literature, has been awarded the American Academy of Rome Andrew Heiskell Post-Doctoral Rome Prize for her work in Ancient Studies. Professor Frampton will spend a year in Rome to work on her research project entitled, Alphabetic Order: The Roman Alphabet and the Material Culture of Literature in the Ancient World. Professor Frampton’s fellowship includes a stipend and room and board for a period of one year in Rome.
