Congratulations to Lit@MIT’s Diversity Predoctoral Fellow, Danielle M. Dorvil!

Danielle Dorvil joined the Literature Section in the summer of 2022 as a Diversity Predoctoral Fellow. We recently received news from Literature faculty mentor, Professor Sandy Alexandre, that Danielle just accepted a Spanish tenure-track faculty position as Assistant Professor at Sarah Lawrence College!

Danielle is a PhD candidate in Spanish and Portuguese at Vanderbilt University. Her research interests are critical race theory, women’s and gender studies, and nation-building discourse in Caribbean and Latin American literature and popular culture.
