“Declaring 21L might have been the best decision I’ve made at MIT. Never would I have imagined the depth of conversations we’d touch on in seminars or the incredible friendships I’ve made with the other literature students, staff, and professors. Reading literature has transported me across time, cultures, and genres, allowing me to experience multiple lifetimes in one. I’ve learned new ways of thinking and feeling which will shape the way I see the world and live my life after graduation.”
