Mitchell Shiffer

Mitchell Greyson Shiffer is a graduate student in the classical studies department at Tufts University. Mitchell worked as a teaching assistant for Dr. Stephanie Ann Frampton’s Latin I and II classes in the spring of 2024 and rejoined MIT’s literature department as a part time lecturer for the Latin classes in the spring of 2025. His academic interests include classical philology, Apuleian studies, and digital humanities. While not reading classical texts, Mitchell enjoys playing the piano, photography, and looking at the night sky through his telescope.
