Ana Schwartz is a Diversity Predoctoral Fellow in the School of Sciences, Arts, and Humanities. A doctoral candidate in the English Department at the University of Pennsylvania, she is being hosted by the Literature Section at MIT. Her research reassesses the literature of emotions in colonial New England, arguing for its perseverance into contemporary discourses of migration and naturalization. She also writes about outer space, and she occasionally likes to tweet (@schwartz_ana) in poetic measure.
