Jessica TranVo
Jessica TranVo is responsible for the Literature Section’s publicity and outreach. She organizes Literature Section events, including Literature Teas (Lit Teas) for student outreach, visiting scholars and lecturers, and Literature faculty events. She also manages Literature’s campus-wide presence via social media, academic expos, and student fairs, as well as designing internal advertising and publications, like Literature’s course supplements, subject posters, news and event announcements.
Jessica has two Bachelor degrees in English Literature and Fine Arts, with a minor in Art History from Bridgewater State University’14. Her work focuses on Irish literature and painting/mixed media/collage art respectively. She has exhibited her collages around the Greater Boston/Cambridge area, as well as on campus at MIT’s Rainbow Lounge, MIT Libraries’ COVID-Documentation project, and MIT Distinctive Collection’s AY25-26 It’s ALIVE! The Proto-Science Fiction Novel, Frankenstein loft space exhibit. She is fluent in Vietnamese and has a dog named Bingo.
