Jessica TranVo is responsible for the Literature Section’s publicity and outreach. She organizes Literature Section events, including Literature Teas (Lit Teas), visiting scholars and lecturers, and Literature faculty events. She also manages Literature’s campus-wide presence via social media, academic expos, and student fairs, designing internal advertising and publications (Literature’s Course Supplement, subject posters, and event announcements).
Jessica has Bachelor degrees in English Literature and Fine Arts, with a minor in Art History from Bridgewater State University’14. Her work focused on Irish literature and painting/mixed media/collage art respectively. She has exhibited her collages around the Greater Boston area, as well as on campus at MIT’s Rainbow Lounge & Library COVID-Documentation project. She is fluent in Vietnamese and has a dog named Bingo.
