2019 Literature and Poetry Prize Winners

Literature and Poetry prizes were awarded to students of the Class of 2019 on May 13, 2019 at the last Literature Tea of the Spring semester. The Peter S. Donaldson Prize for Excellence in Literary Studies is awarded each spring to a literature majors who excels academically, and is an engaging participant in the literary community at MIT. Professor, and Head of Literature Mary Fuller presented the prize of honorable mention to Daniel Guberek and the final prize to Milka Piszczek.

  The Poetry Prize is awarded to students who have excelled academically in 21L.004 “Reading Poetry,” and enrich the poetry community at MIT more broadly. Professor Arthur Bahr presented the prize to Chelsea Watanabe and Benjamin Sockol. Professor Noel Jackson presented the prize to Valerie Chen and Zachary Chin.
