Litshop presents, The Romantic Comedy of Computation When: Thursday, December 1st Where: Building 14, 14N-417 (map) Doors open @ 5:00pm; Introduction begins @ 5:15pm   Presented by: Benjamin Mangrum, Assistant Professor, Literature Section at MIT   This talk examines a minor genre in the cultural history of the computer—a genre that I call the romantic comedy of computation. People falling in love using computers, computers falling in love with people, and a hoped-for union between human beings and computing machines are all variations on this genre.
